Grupo Moncada to Spend a Month in Winnipeg

This summer, the popular Cuban band Grupo Moncada will be spending a month in Winnipeg performing at a number of venues. They are a featured group at the Portage Avenue street festival which takes place on July 14 and 15. They will perform again at Le Rendez-Vous for the July 26 celebration of Moncada Day, Cuba's national day. They will conclude their stay in Winnipeg with a week of performances at the Cuban Folklorama pavilion from August 5 to 11, also at Le Rendez-Vous.
