Scenes from the United May Day Banquet

The sixth annual United May Day Banquet was held in Winnipeg on the evening of April 30 with close to 300 people in attendance. A dinner of wonderful East Indian food was followed by an evening of revolutionary music through the ages performed by a string quartet of young musicians from Ontario and Saskatchewan and spoken word poetry performed by several young political activists. Following the singing of The Internationale, a dance was organized, with a number of local professional artists providing the music and singing. Below are some scenes from the banquet.
